The largest industry event in the German-speaking world
DOXNET is a registered association dedicated to document and output management. Its aim is to transfer knowledge, promote cooperation and build a productive industry network. DOXNET members are experts from a wide range of industries, including banking and finance, consulting, insurance, retail, services, software and hardware manufacturers, digital printers and graphics companies.
Industry experts among themselves
Alongside 51 other exhibitors, DocuMatrix had its own booth at the conference for the first time. Our aim was to strengthen our network, identify current trends and raise our profile as an Austrian company in Germany.
The DocuMatrix booth not only communicated expertise and innovation, but also showed how passion can make the difference. Visitors were treated to Sachertorte and coffee at a booth with Viennese coffee house charm.
Speed dating and specialist lecture
On the first day of the trade show, Markus Gruber presented DocuMatrix in just two minutes as part of the DOXNET speed dating event. This company pitch was a complete success, because afterwards everyone knew where to get the “best” coffee at the trade fair.
Gerhard Gruber gave a 35-minute lecture on the second day. The aim of this DOXNET lecture format was to spread expertise within the network and establish new approaches. With his presentation “Thinking outside the box”, Gerhard Gruber spanned the arc from Roman latrines to today’s business of customer communication management.
Networking in the heart of Baden-Baden
On the evenings of the first and second conference days, networking events were held in impressive locations. In a relaxed atmosphere and enjoying culinary delights, new contacts were established and old acquaintances cultivated.
How a trade fair contributes to team building
As the person responsible for the event, it was very important to me that DocuMatrix’s trade fair appearance was something special. That’s why we not only offered regional specialties such as Sachertorte from Konditorei Kadlec, but also made sure that our 18 m² stand, built by KuTech, was equipped with that certain something.
To ensure that the booth was set up smoothly, my colleague Roman Hammerschmid from the Consulting team joined me on a drive in a small truck from Lower Austria to Baden-Baden in the German Black Forest. After an eight-hour drive, we unloaded and set up our booth the next day. Once again, it was clear that everyone at DocuMatrix works together to achieve common goals. During the trade show, Veronika Stadler and I took a load off the rest of our team by taking care of hospitality services. I particularly enjoyed this close collaboration, as we worked together like clockwork without any previous experience with a similar trade show booth.
I am therefore looking forward to this specialist event with team-building elements and can hardly wait for DOXNET 2025.
