Standardised offer submission for CANCOM Austria

In the digital world of the 21st century, partnerships are more important than ever and DocuMatrix GmbH has been cooperating with consulting and managed service partner CANCOM Austria since 2016. Successful collaborations between two IT companies often lead to groundbreaking innovations, improved products and services, and increased competitiveness.

 

The starting point

The complex requirements that CANCOM Austria was often confronted with when preparing offers exceeded the capabilities of most standard offer programs on the market in 2016. The number of incoming requests proved too large to be processed easily and consistently. In addition, the solutions on the market were often too complex to be recorded by standard offer programs. In the framework of the collaboration with DocuMatrix, CANCOM Austria hoped to create a uniform appearance for all documents in the offer process, to standardise the preparation of offers and to make this procedure more fluid for employees.

 

The project

As part of an official call for tenders, CANCOM Austria turned to DocuMatrix with a detailed catalogue of requirements and a rough implementation concept. We then got started on the joint project with our proven 4-phase concept for applying innovations in IT systems. Following the successful proof of concept and value, CANCOM Austria decided on system-wide implementation with DocuMatrix.

 

The result

Thanks to the DocuMatrix product dmDOC, CANCOM Austria can generate dynamic documents using modules and link them to their existing systems, such as a calculation tool. The desired level of standardisation was achieved by providing uniform paragraphs, formulations and templates. The underlying approval process has also been standardised.

More than expected

DocuMatrix enables automated generation of numerous documents with just a few clicks. Despite this level of standardisation, CANCOM Austria employees still have the option of customising each document to the specific needs of the customer. At the same time, compliance with the appropriate corporate identity is ensured throughout the company.

As part of the project, CANCOM Austria was able to secure additional advantages. This means that offers can now be generated more quickly, the corporate identity has been standardised and a general offer can be prepared and accessed at any time. Furthermore, all functions are managed in a single-point-of-change system with flexible and user-friendly operation.

The core objective of this collaboration, which was to achieve complete company-wide standardisation and a uniform design for text templates, was not only successful, but also exceeded expectations.

We are delighted about this partnership and that the entire added value stays in Austria.
